About Kim

I received my BA from Cornell University in Computer Science and Linguistics. Before studying psychology I worked as a software engineer developing natural language processing systems. Throughout my life I have also been involved in music, studying classical voice at the New England Conservatory and performing as a soprano soloist with choral groups and opera companies throughout New England. From this diverse background, I am able to help clients bridge what they may perceive to be a gap between logic and emotion, whether internally within themselves or externally in their relationships.

My MS and Psy.D. degrees are in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England. My primary therapy modalities are Internal Family Systems (IFS) and the related Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO), having completed levels 1, 2, and 3 of IFS and Post-Advanced training in IFIO. I am an Assistant Trainer for  the IFS Institute and a frequent staff member for IFIO trainings.
